By default, an export gives you the full contact name in one cell and the full property address in one cell. If you want them broken out into separate columns — First Name, Last Name, and the address split into street, city, state, ZIP, and county — you choose the Parsed version of those fields when you set up your export.
Parsed = split into separate columns. Unparsed = everything in one cell. Pick Parsed when you need First/Last name and the address components in their own columns.
How to get split columns
In the Property Prospecting Grid, select your records, then click Export (Select → Export).
Choose your export format (for example, Property List or Contact List).
Scroll down in the export window and click Fields.
In the field list, find Contact Name and Property Address. Each one has two versions:
Unparsed — the full name or full address in a single column.
Parsed — split into separate columns (Contact Name → First Name and Last Name; Property Address → street, city, state, ZIP, and county).
Select the Parsed version of Contact Name and/or Property Address. If you don't also want the combined column, leave the Unparsed version unchecked.
Add any other fields you want in the same list (year built, beds, baths, square footage, and more), drag to reorder your columns, then click Export.
Your CSV will follow the exact columns and order you chose, with the name and address already split out — no need to separate them afterward in a spreadsheet.
