Use this article to find where your DealMachine features moved and what they're called now, so you can get back to work fast after the update. The core workflow is unchanged — find properties, get owner info, reach out — but a lot has been renamed and reorganized. Below are the changes most likely to trip you up, followed by a full old-to-new name reference.
"Leads" work differently now — the biggest change
Old DealMachine had you add "leads." New DealMachine splits that one idea into three separate tools:
Add to List — the closest match to old leads. Lists are named collections you use to work a set of records.
Saved (the star) — bookmarks a record so you can find it again. Saving is a favorite, not lead tracking.
Targets — properties you flag while Driving for Dollars.
So if you're wondering "where are my leads?", your working set is almost always a List. (See the Saving & Lists collection.) A light Opportunities pipeline for tracking deals through to close is coming soon.
DealMachine now opens to Prospect, not the map
Old DealMachine opened on a map. New DealMachine opens to Prospect in the left sidebar, with Find Properties and the brand-new Find People. The map didn't go away — it's now one of three result views (Grid, Map, and Split). (See Prospecting & Search.)
List Builder is now Find Properties — plus a new Find People
"List Builder" is now Find Properties in New DealMachine — same job: filter, review, then export or save to a List. New DealMachine also adds Find People, so you can prospect people directly, not just properties. (See Prospecting & Search.)
Skip tracing is now "revealing" — and it uses data credits
Old DealMachine's skip tracing is now called Reveal Contact. Viewing a contact's name is free; revealing their phone numbers and emails costs 1 data credit per contact. (See Credits & billing at a glance.)
Saved searches are now automatic (Past Searches)
You no longer save searches by hand. In New DealMachine every search auto-saves under Past Searches in the sidebar — click one to restore its filters, location, and prospect type. Pin your favorites to keep them at the top.
Record pages are bigger
The old Property Card is now the full Property Page, and the old Contact Card is now the People Page — both with far more data (financials, comparables, portfolio, and more) organized into modular sections you can pin and reorder.
Driving for Dollars is now a dedicated mobile app
Driving for Dollars moved to a purpose-built mobile app, while prospecting, exports, and mail stay on the web. At launch, Free Drive is available; assigned, route, and area driving are coming soon. (See Driving for Dollars.)
Renamed balances and tools
Old Export Limit is now Data Credits — spent on revealing and exporting.
Old marketing credits are now Funds, managed in your Wallet, used for direct mail.
Alma, the AI assistant, is becoming Copilot — coming soon on paid plans.
