Written by Joy

Use this article to review and manage the notes, tags, and photos you capture while prospecting in the DealMachine mobile app, so you can work through your data between drives without switching to the web app.

Where to find it: In the DealMachine mobile app, tap the car icon in the bottom navigation menu, then select Tools at the top of the screen.

The Tools menu shows four tools: Notes Manager, Tags Manager, Media Library, and Drive Settings.

Notes Manager

The Notes Manager lets you view every note you've taken across your properties and drives in one scrollable list. You can search or filter notes by date or property to find what you're looking for. Tap a note to edit it, or tap its property link to jump straight to that property's detail sheet.

Tags Manager

The Tags Manager has two tabs: My Tags and Tagged Properties.

  • On the My Tags tab, you'll see every tag available to you and your team. Tap New Tag to create one with a name and color. Rename a tag by tapping it and tapping Edit, or delete a tag by tapping Remove. To find a tag, type in the "Search tags..." field.

  • On the Tagged Properties tab, you'll see every property that has at least one tag applied. Tap any property and tap Details to open its detail sheet, or tap Map to view the property on the map.

Any change you make is reflected everywhere that tag is used across the app.

Media Library

The Media Library shows photos you've taken in the app. Filter by date to narrow things down, then tap any photo to open it full-screen with its details (capture time, date, and the associated property address). Tap the property address to open its detail page.

On the Settings tab, turn on Save to Device to save newly captured photos to your device's photo gallery. When it's off, photos are saved to the DealMachine cloud only.

Drive Settings

Drive Settings lets you customize how the app looks and behaves while you're driving.

  • General: Choose your preferred app theme: Light, Dark, or System.

  • Driving: Auto-Lock While Driving keeps the map centered on your current location while driving; Visited Status Duration sets how long a property remains marked as visited; Navigation Rules lets you choose which road types to avoid when generating routes; Route History Lines displays your previous driving routes on the map in Idle and Free Drive modes.

  • Audio: Navigation Voice enables voice guidance for planned routes; Voice Style lets you choose the voice used for navigation guidance (Default, Calm, Energetic, or David).
