Use this article to add records to a list in DealMachine. You can add properties and contacts to a list directly from the search grid or from an individual record page. The list picker even lets you spin up a brand-new list inline if the right one doesn't exist yet.
Where to find it: Lists live in the left sidebar under Saved Records (Lists > All Lists). You can also create a list from a Grid of results by selecting records in Find Properties or Find People.
Adding records from the grid view
Select one or more records using the checkboxes beside each record on Find Properties or Find People to reveal the action bar, where you can perform bulk actions.
Select the records you want to save using the row checkboxes.
Click Actions in the action bar.
Click Add to List.
Select a list and click Add to List.
Creating a new list from the action bar
If you'd rather start fresh:
Select the records you want.
Click Create List in the action bar.
Fill in the list name (description and type are optional) and click Create List.
Adding from a property or people page
You can also save a single record from its detail page:
Open the property or people page.
Click the three dots in the top right corner and select Add to List.
Choose the target list and click Add to List.
How duplicates are handled
If some of the records you selected are already on the target list, only the new ones are added and duplicates are skipped. If every record you selected is already on the list, no records are inserted and you'll see an informational message such as "All selected properties are already on this list."
