Use this article to jump straight to a specific property or person from anywhere in DealMachine with Quick Search, the fastest way to open a record and view its details.
Where to find it: Click the magnifying-glass icon at the top of the left sidebar to open Quick Search from any page.
Searching
Use the Properties and People tabs to set what you are searching for, then type your query. You can search by address, APN (Assessor's Parcel Number), owner name, email, or phone number, depending on the mode you select.
Quick Search can also detect what you are typing; enter an email, for example, and it adjusts the search type for you. You can narrow results to a specific city, state, or zip code.
What results show
Property results show the address, city/state/zip, property type, beds, baths, square footage, and APN (Assessor's Parcel Number).
People results show the full name and full address.
Selecting a result takes you to that property or person's detail page. Your recently viewed list updates automatically as you visit records.
