Use this article to set your DealMachine direct mail preferences once so every new campaign starts pre-filled. You can manage the return addresses printed on your postcards and set default campaign values like postcard size, sender name, QR code URL, and signature.
Where to find it: Open the Direct Mail app in the left sidebar and go to Settings. The page is organized into two cards: Return Addresses and Campaign Defaults.
Note: These settings apply to your entire organization.
Manage return addresses
The Return Addresses card lists the addresses that can appear on your postcards. Each one shows the name in bold with the full address below.
To add an address, click "+ Add Address" in the top-right of the card, fill in the name, address lines, city, state, and zip, and save. The new address appears in your list.
To edit an address, click its card, make your changes, and save.
To remove an address, hover your mouse over the address and click the trash icon.
Set a default return address that will be added to your postcards.
Set campaign defaults
The Campaign Defaults card holds the values that pre-populate every new campaign:
Postcard Size - choose your default size (4x6", 6x9", or 6x11").
Sender Name - enter the name you want on your mail.
QR Code URL - enter the web address your postcard QR codes should point to.
Signature Image - click Upload Signature to set the image used for the {{signature}} variable in your designs.
Once these are set, every new campaign you create in DealMachine starts with these values already filled in, so you don't have to re-enter them each time.
