Credit Profile

The section of a person's profile that reads their financial health — credit and debt behavior, income and assets, and investment activity.

Written by Joy

Use this article to read the Credit Profile section — the part of a person's profile in DealMachine that gives you a quick read on their financial health, helping you gauge whether they might be under pressure to sell or whether they're in a strong position to qualify for financing.

Where to find it: Open a person's profile (their People Page) — for example, click a contact under a property's Associated Contacts, or run a Find People search (or Quick Search) and open a result. On the People Page, the Credit Profile appears right below the Mortgage & Financial section, or click Credit Profile in the left sidebar. Credit Profile is one section of the People Page, and sections can be pinned or reordered.

Credit & Debt Behavior

This subsection shows five status cards, each covering a different type of debt or credit activity:

  • Carries Credit Card Balance — indicates whether the contact revolves debt month to month or pays it off.

  • Credit Card Ownership — shows whether they hold active credit card accounts.

  • Personal Loans — flags whether they have any personal loan debt on file.

  • Student Loans — indicates outstanding student loan debt.

  • Auto Loans — shows whether they carry auto loan debt.

Income & Assets

This subsection gives you a picture of the contact's financial resources:

  • Estimated Annual Household Income

  • Net Assets

Investment Portfolio

This subsection shows which investment categories the contact is likely involved in:

  • Stocks/Bonds

  • Mutual Funds/CDs

  • Real Estate

Below the indicators, a short summary gives you an at-a-glance signal on the contact's financial sophistication and buying power.
