Learn how completed exports appear in your DealMachine Inbox and how to download, search, and filter them.

Written by Joy

Use this article to find, download, and manage your completed exports in the DealMachine Inbox instead of hunting through your email.

Where to find it: Open the Inbox in DealMachine and select the Notifications tab.

How exports appear in your Inbox

Every export shows up as a new item in your Inbox with:

  • A downloadable CSV file icon and an export type label (for example, "Properties Export" or "People Export").

  • The number of records exported.

  • The date and time the export finished.

New or unread items are marked with a green dot, so you can tell at a glance which files are new.

Downloading a file from the Inbox

To download a completed export, open your Inbox, find the item you want, and click Download. The CSV saves to your device immediately.

In-app notification when an export is ready

You do not have to refresh or wait for an email. When an export finishes processing while you are logged in, a toast appears at the bottom of the screen that reads "Your export is ready — View in Inbox." Click the link in the toast to jump straight to the Inbox.

Export files are kept in the Inbox for 7 days. After that, the item appears disabled with the message "This file has expired and is no longer available for download." Re-run the export if you need the file again.

How to search your Inbox

The search bar applies to whichever tab you are currently viewing, Tasks or Notifications.

  • Open your Inbox.

  • Click the search bar and start typing.

  • As you type, the list filters down to items that match.

  • To clear your search, click the X inside the search bar.

Filtering notifications by status

The Notifications tab includes status filter chips at the top: All, Scheduled, Processing, Completed, and Failed. Click a title to show only notifications in that status. Click All to clear the status filter.

Search and status filters work together. If you have Failed selected and then type "export" in the search bar, you will see only failed notifications that match "export."
