Use this article to narrow your DealMachine prospecting results with filters, starting with a location and then refining by the criteria that matter to you.
Where to find it: The filter panel opens next to the Prospect menu, along the left side of your results, after you choose Find Properties or Find People from the left sidebar.
Set a location first
Before applying other filters, make sure to enter a location. By default, it appears at the top of the filter list on the left side of the results. You can enter more than one location, and you can enter a state, county, or zip code.
If no location is entered, your filters will apply nationwide, and the results will show all matching properties or people across the U.S.
Pin your favorite filters
Some filters are pinned at the top by default to make them easier to find. You can customize your pinned filters:
Click Show Hidden Filters at the bottom of the filter panel.
Hover over a filter category and click the pin icon.
To unpin, click the icon again.
Drag and drop pinned filters to rearrange their order.
Click Reset defaults to restore the original pinned filters.
Find and clear filters
To save time looking for a specific filter, use the search bar at the top of the filters list. To remove all active filters at once, click Clear All at the top of the filter panel.
You can also collapse the filter panel by clicking Hide Filters at the top to give yourself more screen space. Click it again to bring the filters back.
