Use this to understand which search filters are Premium in DealMachine, and which plans include them.

Which plans include Premium filters?

Premium filters are included on Pro and Scale plans (and active legacy plans). On the Basic plan they're visible in the filter list with a "Premium" tag, but locked — upgrading to Pro unlocks them immediately.

What kinds of filters are Premium?

Most filters in DealMachine are free on every plan. The Premium set is focused on deeper owner and household insights:

  • Preforeclosure dates — Auction Date and Default Date (preforeclosure status stays free on all plans).

  • Mover & buyer signals — likely to move, new movers, first-time buyer indicators.

  • Investor & ownership insights — real estate investors, owners with multiple investment properties.

  • Mortgage activity — recent mortgage applications, borrowers, and refinances.

  • Home equity & refinance detail — available equity and loan/rate/term details, for both primary and investment properties.

  • Insurance signals — insurance-related risk and shopping indicators.

  • Select demographics — such as political affiliation and mobile-home residency.

What happens on the Basic plan?

Premium filters appear tagged "Premium" but can't be applied. If a Premium column was added before a downgrade, its values show as blurred placeholders. Your saved searches keep working — restricted filters are simply skipped.

What's not Premium?

Everyday filters — location, property type, equity, estimated value, ownership, listing status, beds/baths, and the rest — are free on all plans. Fields like Age, Occupation, and Language Preference are free, not Premium.
